The I AM AIR FORCE ENERGY Campaign - centered around national Energy Action Month - involved 80 bases participating in more than 40 unique outreach tactics that raised awareness across the organization and contributed to a 21% reduction in electricity use and 12% reduction in fuel. The campaign promotes the need for increased energy security, addresses the rising energy costs and focuses on projects related to energy across the U.S. Air Force. The materials touched over 200,000 Airmen worldwide in the most far-reaching Air Force campaign ever launched.
